Our 4-star Les Prairies de la Mer campsite welcomes you for short or long stays from April to October. Located just a few hundred meters from the main beach and shops, everything is within walking distance. Bakery, supermarket, leisure activities, Thalasso, Casino, cinema. The campsite is ideally located to take advantage of all the services offered by the seaside resort of Ouistreham Riva-Bella. The Avenue de la Mer, in the center of town, is full of small souvenir stores and restaurants. It’s also the venue for many summer events, including Tuesday night markets.
On the outskirts of the city, you will find Caen, its history, its monuments and museums, then towards the East, the Côte Fleurie: Cabourg, Deauville or Honfleur and its old port. Finally, to the west, the Côte de Nacre andthe D-Day landing beaches of Courseulles-sur-Mer, Arromanches and, a little further afield, Colleville-sur-Mer. At Prairies de la Mer, you will have all the leisure to discover or rediscover the charm of Calvados.

Your 4 star campsite with pool and spa
The campsite’s aquatic area is ideal for having fun in the water or simply having a good time and relaxing. The heated outdoor pool is designed so that everyone can enjoy their space safely. The paddling pool with slide for the youngest, a large pool for those who want to do some laps, and the aqua brake slides for the most adventurous!
In thecovered area, also heated, you will find a large pool and a paddling pool. A balneotherapy area with jacuzzi and sauna is also available for you to forget the stress of everyday life and think of yourself. In the summer, gather around the outdoor pool for the camp dance all together at the end of the day!
Summertime is moving at Prairies de la Mer
Sports activitiesfun outings, kids’ club At Les Prairies de la Mer, our entertainers will make sure your vacation is full of surprises! In July and August, from Monday to Friday , we offer a wide range of activities for children and teenagers/adults. Sports tournaments, hiking, board games, accrobranches or laser-game outings, amusement park, big theme day and many others will be on the program of your week. Children from 6 to 12 years old who wish to participate in the mini-club are welcomed by our two animators, who have plenty of ideas for games and activities. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, take part in our themed evenings : musical quizzes, concerts, magic shows, couscous or galette evenings at La Paillotte… Our events are open to all and entirely free of charge. So will you come?
Enjoy the beach in any season
With the beach just a few minutes away, you will not stop walking there in the morning and admiring the magnificent sunset on summer evenings. On blue-sky days, the little ones can build a sand castle before bravely jumping into the water for an invigorating swim. Plant your parasol, spread your towel and let’s go for a lazy day on the sand. Beach Volleyball courts and soccer goals are installed near the first aid station for the sportsmen!
For rainy days and in low season, nothing prevents you from putting on your boots for a walk at low tide or a fishing trip. Scallops, mussels and other shellfish are the stars of the region.

Rates and availability
Rentals are by the week in summer: Saturday to Saturday or Wednesday to Wednesday. The rest of the year, you can book your accommodation on any day for a minimum of 2 nights.
