Why choose a campsite on the Emerald Coast?

The Emerald Coast gets its name from the color of its waters: a luminous blue-green that the English Channel deposits on its shores with each tide. Between Saint-Malo and the Cap Fréhel, this Breton coastline is one of the most beautiful in France, and Saint-Cast-le-Guildo is one of its jewels. Camping here means choosing to wake up to the sound of the waves, discovering lunar landscapes shaped by the high tides on foot, and enjoying an authentic family vacation in the Côtes d'Armor.

The Emerald Coast also includes Ille-et-Vilaine with its iconic seaside resorts like Saint-Briac-sur-Mer and Saint-Lunaire, within easy excursion distance. Seaside tourism here takes on a special flavor, carried by the unique light of the Brittany and the generosity of its inhabitants. Your camping vacation on the Emerald Coast will be an unforgettable experience.

The must-sees to discover near our campsites

Cape Fréhel, sentinel of the Emerald Coast

A few kilometers from Saint-Cast-le-Guildo, Cape Fréhel stands as one of Brittany's most spectacular natural sites. Its pink sandstone cliffs plunge into the English Channel from a dizzying height, offering a breathtaking panorama of the Emerald Coast. Cape Fréhel is also home to a remarkable ornithological reserve: thousands of gannets, kittiwakes, and shag nest there every spring. The GR34, the coastal path that runs along the entire coast of Brittany, passes at the foot of the lighthouse and connects our La Crique campsite to this exceptional site. Saint-Malo and Dinard, the great neighbors of the Emerald Coast

Less than an hour from Saint-Cast-le-Guildo, Saint-Malo and Dinard embody Breton seaside tourism at its most elegant. Saint-Malo, the corsair city, welcomes you behind its granite ramparts: stroll along the ramparts, discover the islands of Grand Bé and Petit Bé, and breathe in the history-laden air of this extraordinary city. On the other side of the Rance estuary, Dinard boasts its Belle Époque villas, Prieuré beach, and a decidedly chic atmosphere. The two cities are connected by a ferry that crosses the Rance and offers a magnificent view of the Emerald Coast. From your campsite in Saint-Cast-le-Guildo, Saint-Malo and Dinard are easily visitable as day trips to enrich your vacation in Brittany.

Saint-Briac-sur-Mer and Saint-Lunaire, the pearls of Ille-et-Vilaine

Between Saint-Cast-le-Guildo and Dinard, the Emerald Coast reveals more discreet, yet equally charming, seaside resorts. Saint-Briac-sur-Mer, with its sheltered beaches and century-old golf course, is one of the most beautiful resorts in Ille-et-Vilaine. Its fishing port, flowery alleyways, and sea views make it a must-visit destination for families on vacation in Brittany. Nearby, Saint-Lunaire captivates with its vast white sandy beaches and rocky point, offering direct access to the English Channel and an unobstructed view of the horizon.
