The history of Campings Vert Bleu, now Campings Mirabel

For years, many holidaymakers have known our Breton establishments as the Campings Vert Bleu.
Since 2022, this adventure has continued under a new identity: Mirabel Campsites, in Saint-Cast-le-Guildo, North Brittany.
A change of name, yes - but the same passion for hospitality, conviviality and family vacations by the sea.
🏕️ Year 2000: Saint-Cast-le-Guildo's municipal campsites under private management
The town of Saint-Cast-le-Guildo owns 4 2-, 3- and 4-star campsites in the historic communes of Saint-Cast and Le Guildo.
- Les Mielles**** : swimming pools, entertainment, Large beach, resort centre
- La Crique*** : seaside, shell, diving
- Le Clos Tranquille** (The Quiet Closet) : countryside and sea, relaxation, family camping
- Les 4 Vaulx : beach access, nature, fishing
On May 3, 2000, the elected members of the Saint-Cast council decided to concede, to the SARL Campings Vert-Bleu, management of four municipal campsites. The public service concession contract will run for 25 years, until May 3, 2025.
The SARL Camping Vert Bleu was created by our family group to manage these 4 campsites in the Côtes d'Armor region.
2022: from Campings Vert Bleu to Campings Mirabel: a natural evolution
The name Vert Bleu already evoked nature and the ocean, two elements that are an integral part of the Saint-Cast-le-Guildo holiday experience.
Over time, our campsites have grown, evolved and refined their universe.
Changing our name was a way of marking this new stage, modernizing our image while remaining true to our values.

- proximity to the sea,
- and the desire to create beautiful shared memories.
2025: the adventure continues!
The 1er april 2025 (no, it's not a joke, and we're happy about it!) the commune of Saint-Cast-le-Guildo has decided to extend the management of its municipal campsites for a further 8 years.
We're delighted to be continuing the adventure with the existing team, under the Mirabel name with SARL Les Campings Vert Bleu.
